Business Spotlight: Studio 74 Vintage
Laura Simmons was using vintage clothing merely as photo props, working as a vintage portrait photographer, when she decided she loved looking at the fashion featured in the pictures more than taking the pictures themselves. That’s when Studio 74 Vintage was born.
Focusing on vintage fashion from the 50’s to 80’s for women, men & kids, Studio 74 Vintage specializes in pristine condition, one of a kind pieces that are all photo shoot worthy. At the store, there is western vintage clothing for all. “We bring in new items daily. Simmons proudly states. “We pride ourselves on carrying carefully curated pristine clothing.”
Laura worked a law enforcement career for 20 plus years but is now retired, or so she says. At Studio 74 Vintage, she is a one woman show. She personally sources every item in the store and currently mans the store 5 days a week by herself. If you take a look at Simmons Instagram page, you can see that she has taken the time to find and provide a wide variety of vintage styles for everyone. Each piece seems to be specially picked out for someone in particular and you can feel Laura’s love for her finds in even pictures.
Often it can be hard to find good vintage at an in-store location, but the Studio 74 store front offers premier vintage clothing for the Fort Worth, TX. It’s no secret that vintage clothing, especially vintage western, is making its way back to today’s trends. Laura offers authentic western clothing that will always stand out in a crowd as a one of a kind find.
Studio 74 Vintage has been featured in local Fort Worth magazines, part of big brand campaigns such as Justin Boots and even visited by celebrities like Leon Bridges. Many of its first time customers have become repeat customers who enjoy the fact that they are finding unique pieces of clothing to express themselves. You’ll always find seasonal and on trend pieces in the store and they have a wide selection of vintage boots.
