Business Spotlight: Cattle Haus

Cattle Haus is helping women of all shapes, sizes and ages find chic pieces that will make them radiate confidence. Finding trendy, western, contemporary clothing at affordable prices and that is size inclusive can be a task, but at Cattle Haus almost all items come in sizes S-2XL.

“Our job is to ensure you feel uniquely you.” owner Lauren Kesselring says. We all know it can be taunting for a lot of women to shop because they don’t feel as though their body type is represented in most boutiques. However, at Cattle Haus they are all about making sure everyone looks and feels good in the clothes they’re in. They even offer a “Strictly Curvy” section with sizes from 1XL-5XL. Kesselring is passionate about creating a community for all that things her store represents. “On the main page of our website you can see some other things that represent us are home cooking/recipes, outdoors and the western lifestyle/farming, simple living and Christianity.” she says. “We also sell accessories, kids clothing, and home goods.”

Kesselring began Cattle Haus in June of this year as a way of starting to make a dream come true; to have her own business and build a community that she really believes in. She says the main reason for starting the business was to have an income when she had children. “I knew that I wanted to be a stay at home mom and wanted to do something as a creative outlet. To which I am also creative and love mixing my creativity with business.” she says. “Also, I wanted to make a space where every age, size and shape were welcome. I liked the idea of being able to offer something for everyone, no matter what.”

Kesselring works a full-time job currently as a HR Director for a landscape company and says she absolutely loves it. Cattle Haus wise, her day is built up with inputting new inventory, managing social media, creating new content (her biggest task), and constantly resourcing how to better her business, grow more and interact with others. One of her favorite hobbies is cooking, and she even shares things like recipes, home tips and her everyday experiences through the blog on the Cattle Haus website. When describing herself, Kesselring puts it simply; “I am a women with a big country heart and a business mindset, who’s blue eyes will see right through you for the better.”
