1. Use Hashtags

Hashtags are a way that people who do not currently follow you can find your content. Use up to 25 of them and post them as a comment, not in your caption. Choose your hashtags wisely, they should be something that correlates with the content you post and the customer you want to reach.

2. Post an IGTV once a week

Instagram really wants you to use this feature, so they will “reward” accounts who post IGTV by pushing their content into your feed. In our testing of this theory, engagement shot up overall every time an IGTV was posted.

3. Use the Poll feature in your stories

Every time a follower interacts with your IG stories via something like the poll feature, it signifies to IG that the follower is interested in your content and will push your content into their feeds more. This is often why you see larger accounts using a poll or question sticker at least once a day in their IG stories, because it helps overall engagement.

We hope these three quick tips will help your engagement, remember the goal is to grab attention from your followers and keep it, and don’t forget to keep content fresh!
