Known for chasing West Texas sunsets and capturing stunning moments her clients will cherish forever, Claudia Mejia puts her heart and soul into all of her photoshoots with her company Mexia Photography.
Located in the Big Spring, TX area, Claudia has a passion for western lifestyle photography. She specializes in capturing the gorgeous hues of golden hour and the natural beauty the location provides. From engagement photos, to family photos, maternity to lifestyle, making her subjects feel comfortable is a top priority, and it shows in her stunning results.
Claudia Mejia was raised in South Texas, but now lives on a ranch she shares with her husband and 3 children ranging from 5-12 years old. Her supportive husband is always pushing her to work hard and pursue her goals. “My biggest supporter, cheerleader and talented assistant has been my husband, “Oz”. He is my second shooter at weddings, drone pilot and creative resource when I draw a blank.” They also raise Longhorns. Prior to taking on photography full time, she was a surgical assistant specializing in ob-gyn surgery.
“One of the many rewarding things about photography is being able to express my creativity through art. Every time I am able to capture raw moments of my clients I am reminded of the reason why I love photography,” Claudia says.
